How To Remove Blackcurrant Juice

Every parent dreads their child spilling blackcurrant!

If it spills on the carpet like all liquid spills absorb as much of the blackcurrant juice with a kitchen towel. Then use a stain-removing bar and finally shampoo the carpet! Always try to test any detergents on an inconspicuous area first and take professional advice if unsure!

If kids spill blackcurrant on their clothes first rinse in cold water. Pre-soak the fabric in a washing soda solution and then wash as usual in as hot a setting as the fabric will take using a biological washing
detergent.

How to Remove Chewing Gum

The first tip is to rub ice on the gum to freeze it and scrape off as much as you can with a blunt knife.

If this doesn’t work heat the gum with a hairdryer and peel off the melted gum using a plastic band over your hand.

Once the gum has been lifted wash the spot with mild detergent and water.
